*There is no food safety manager certified by this Department (CFSM) on duty as required. A CFSM must be on duty at all times the facility is open and/or food is being prepared. A completed application(SA-71)for CFSM, or proof of enrollment in an approved safety class must be submitted to the Department. Owner, Chintan Soni’s, certificate expired 12/27/23. Recommend at least 2 BCDH CFSMs at this facility based on hours of operation. Repeat Violation.

*Time/temperature control for safety food (TCS) products including sausage, big bites, and taquitoes observed maintaining poor product temperatures from 76F to 122F, respectively. TCS food products were hot-holding. TCS food products must be maintained at or above 135F during hot-holding. PIC reheated TCS food products. The hotdog grill is for customer self service - TCS food products that are cooking must be placed in the back of the grill until fully cooked and/or reheated. Those that are fully cooked and/or reheated can be placed in the front of the grill (before signs for food products). Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

*Bagels with cream cheese observed stored at room temperature for sale to the public. Time/temperature control for safety food products must be maintained at or below 41F at all times during cold-holding unless using time as a public health control. The preparation date was labeled 1/3/24 with a discard date 24 hours later on 1/4/24. If using time as a public health control, TCS food products may only be out a maximum of 4 hours. *Mouse droppings observed on the floor below the 3-compartment sink in the basement. Bait boxes observed along the perimeter of the floor and PIC confirmed PA licensed pest control operator is servicing facility. Clean, sanitize and properly dispose of droppings.
